Conscience Rights

Ontario’s doctors are facing a “globally unprecedented” attack on conscience rights from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and ultimately Kathleen Wynne’s Liberal government in Toronto. Their right to freedom of conscience and religion is enshrined in s. 2 of our Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, but doctors are fighting the Ontario government in court for their right to these fundamental freedoms.

Do you agree that the conscience rights of Doctors and health care professionals should be respected and that these professionals should not be forced or compelled by the Wynne-government to act against their faith or personal conscience when it comes to participating in procedures such as assisted suicide and euthanasia?
